Our last posting included a photo that I took from Panoramic Point that should have included Mt. Hood but didn't because the cloud cover hid this huge peak from our view.
This is the photo we had hoped to take. The view must really be something when all the orchards are in bloom.
This is another view of the mountain taken from a much closer vantage point. No, wait, I'm wrong. We didn't move closer but used my telephoto lens
We would see 4 for 5 barges being pushed up and down the river nearly every day and these are just two examples. The most interesting one belongs to the Corps of Engineers and it brings baby fish down the river by all the dams and then releases them so the little fish can continue their journey to the ocean.
