Look Out - Here We Come

Well, friends, it is nearly mid-March, the trailer is washed and waxed, the truck washed and waxed, we have spent the winter visiting friends and family, doctors have given us a clean bill of health (except for a few extra pounds), Sharon has new glasses and I have new shoes, our teeth have been cleaned and polished, so, it must be time to hit the road and begin another nine months of exploring our great land.

Our travel plans for 2009 are really not very explicit but we have a few activities and places to visit that are scratched into the dirt.

• Camping in Joshua Trees National Park with Murray and Shelle McDole
• A slow trip up the CA and OR coast
• Camping in one of the great Oregon State Parks with Gary and Karen Thurman
• Camping with Ron and Linda Hartman
• Camping along the Columbia River at the campgrounds that we always just blow by on I-84 on our way to the Tri-Cities, WA. We always tell ourselves we need to explore those campgrounds and the areas surrounding them and this is the year.
• Spending time with family and friends in the Tri-Cities
• Visiting all of our Montana family and friends
• Quick visit to South Dakota to renew Sharon's driver's license
• Meeting with nearly 100 of our most intimate friends from the NuWa Owner's Forum that are meeting in West Yellowstone for the last week in June
• 4th of July in Cody, WY
• Attending the annual Old Gang Reunion being held this year near Leavenworth, WA at the Lake Wenatchee State Park.
• Visiting all of the national parks in Utah during the month of September
• October in New Mexico
• November in southern Arizona

And, before we know it, it will be mid-December and we will be parked in Queen Creek, AZ to begin our winter activities.
